The LDW is a contractual modification of customer’s liability. The Loss Damage Waiver must be purchased prior to the start of your training session, or you do not have other contractually provided damage coverage,* the person whose name appears on the class registration will be held financially responsible for damages to the training vehicle. It is unlikely that you have other coverage within your automobile insurance policy and/or credit card company* to cover vehicle damages. It is the student’s full responsibility to verify other coverage prior to the start of training with your automobile insurance carrier and/or credit card company.
